Abstract
The current invention relates to the field of detection and identification of clinically important fungi. More particularly, the present invention relates to species specific probes originating from the Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) region of rDNA for the detection of fungal species such asandin clinical samples, and methods using said probes.
