Abstract
A resistivity of an active material is reduced to drastically decrease an amount of a conductive auxiliary agent to be added, in order to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high capacity. A material represented by a composition formula: LiMeON, wherein 0≦x≦2, 0.1<y<2.2, 0<z<1.4, and Me is at least one selected from the group consisting of Ti, Co, Ni, Mn, Si, Ge, and Sn is used as an active material.
