Abstract

An ablation catheterincludes an elongate carrier. A first loopis arranged at, or adjacent, a distal end of the carrier. At least one sensing electrodeis carried on the first loopfor sensing irregular electrical activity in a patient's body. At least one further loopis arranged proximally relative to the first loopon the carrierin a fixed orientation relative to the first loop. At least one ablating electrodeis carried on the second loopfor ablating a site of the patient's body where irregular electrical activity occurs.
