Abstract
A plasma display panel (PDP) is made of front panel () and a rear panel. The front panel includes display electrodes (), dielectric layer (), and protective layer () that are formed on front glass substrate (). The rear panel includes electrodes, barrier ribs, and phosphor layers that are formed on a rear glass substrate. The front panel and the rear panel are faced with each other, and the peripheries thereof are sealed to form a discharge space therebetween. Display electrodes () includes metal electrodes () each containing at least silver and binding glass. The binding glass of black electrodes () and white electrodes () constituting metal bus electrodes () contains at least bismuth oxide and has a softening point exceeding 550° C.
