Abstract
The PLCadaptor corresponding to a power line communication apparatus has four PLC bridgesA toD, each of which is correspondingly connected to Ethernet communication connectorsA toD, operation mode setting switchesA toD, display unitsA toD. Each PLC bridgeA toD includes a PLC modem unit, a bridge unit, an Ethernet IF unit, and a communication control unit. The communication control unitobtains data type information on the basis of setting conditions of switchesA toD corresponding to each communication port. Since the time slot required for the communication link corresponding to the communication port of the PLC network can be obtained on the basis of the data type information, the reservation request can be transmitted to the control terminal.
