Abstract
A rotation sensorincludes a sensor portion, a wireconnected to the sensor portion, and a resin housing. The wirehas a sheathformed of a resin compatible with the resin forming the housing. The portion of the sheathcovered by the housingincludes two annular sealing projectionsextending along the entire circumference of the sheath. When molten resin is poured into a housing formation mold to mold the housing, the heat of the molten resin is efficiently transferred to the sealing projections. This effectively melts the sealing projectionsand ensures that the sealing projectionsare fused with the housing
