Abstract

In the case of a filling level sensor () for detecting a fuel filling level in a fuel tank (), a lever arm () which secures a float () has a guide part (). The guide part () interacts with an installation opening () in the fuel tank () and deflects the lever arm () in a designated direction. This avoids the filling level sensor () being damaged during installation in the fuel tank ().
