Abstract
A track assembly for an overhead door () includes a generally vertically positionable track segment () and a generally horizontally positionable track segment (). The track segment () includes a curvilinear portion () at one end thereof which telescopically receives a curvilinear portion () of the track segment (). The curvilinear portion () of the track segment () has a smaller radius of curvature than the curvilinear portion () of the track segment (). In one embodiment, a bracket () has tabs () which are received in a slot aperture () in the curvilinear portion () to attach it to the bracket (), and the bracket () has a lug () which is received in a slot () in the curvilinear portion () to attach it to the bracket (). In another embodiment, the track segment () is carried by a bracket (), and the track segment () is carried by a bracket () with the telescopic relationship being the only connection between the track segments ().
