Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for marking an electric wire at a low cost. An apparatusfor marking an electric wire forms a band markon a part of an outer faceof the electric wire. The band markis formed along the entire circumference of the part of the outer faceof the electric wire. The marking apparatustightens the electric wirein a state where a tensile force is applied in a longitudinal direction. The marking apparatusincludes a nozzlefor injecting coloring agent toward an uppermost positionof the outer faceof the electric wire. The nozzlehas an open endwhich is opposed to the electric wireand capable of passing the coloring agent. A straight line L extending between a center Cof the open endand a center Cof the electric wirelies along a vertical direction.
