Abstract
An injection molding machine comprises a stationary platenand a movable platen. The stationary platenand movable platenmay be supported on a base frame. A mold clamping framecomprises a first memberjoined to the stationary platen, a second memberjoined to the movable platen, and connecting membersandfor connecting the first memberand the second memberat their approximate centers. A mold clamping cylinderis disposed between the first memberand the stationary platenor between the second memberand the movable platen.
