Abstract
An ignition switch device is provided with a switching devicehaving a key hole, and capable of being rotationally operated in a predetermined direction with an ignition key K inserted to start and stop the engine of an industrial machine, a casecovering the switching deviceand formed with an insertion holeallowing the key holeto face the outside, a shutterrotatable between a closed position where the insertion holeof the caseis closed, and an open position where the insertion holeis opened to allow the key holeto face outside, and a protruding portionformed within the range of rotation of the shutterwhile protruding from the surfaceof the caseand whose protruding end contacts the rear surfaceof the shutterwhile the shutterrotates.
