Abstract
The present invention provides a chamois for use with athletic shorts and/or pants. The chamois comprises an elastic portion that stretches to conform to a wearer's body to reduce irritation and a relatively inelastic portion that resists stretch to inhibit breakdown of the foam in support areas.
