Abstract
A high-pressure discharge lamp includes a quartz glass discharge chamber () having at least one end () provided with a molybdenum film sealing element () and at least one electrode () which is connected to the sealing element () and is protruded in the lower chamber () of the discharge chamber (), wherein the lamp includes a spiral () whose slope is equal to or greater than 600% and which encompasses the part of the electrode () in the end () area provided with the sealing element () of the discharge chamber () outside of the sealing element ().
