Abstract

A fast reactorcontrolled with a reflector comprises: a reactor vesselaccommodating therein a coolant; a reactor coredisposed in the reactor vesseland immersed in the coolant; and a reflectorthat vertically moves for adjusting leakage of neutrons generated from the reactor coreto control a reactivity of the reactor core, the reflectorincluding a neutron reflecting partdisposed on an outside of the reactor corein a vertically movable manner, the neutron reflecting parthaving a neutron reflecting ability higher than that of the coolant, and a cavity partpositioned above the neutron reflecting part, the cavity parthaving a neutron reflecting ability lower than that of the coolant. The neutron reflecting partis formed of a plurality of metal platesthat are stacked on each other. Each of the metal plateshas a plurality of coolant channelsthrough which the coolantflows.
