Abstract

An inductive component () has a conductor () with a non-rectangular cross section and is used for conducting a current, and at least one planar terminal lead () for feeding or discharging the current to or from the conductor (). The conductor () and the terminal lead () are interconnected in the area of a joining section () of the conductor () so as to form a conductor arrangement. The conductor () is provided with a flat cross section in the area of the joining section () while a flat area of the joining section () of the conductor () is connected to a flat area of the terminal lead ().
