Abstract
A battery connector assembly () includes a first connector () and a second connector (). The first connector includes an insulating housing () defining an elongate end face () and a tongue portion () projecting forward from and extending along a longitudinal direction of the end face. A plurality of signal contacts () extends on the tongue portion and power contacts () of blade shape are projected from the end face and vertical to the longitudinal direction. The second connector is mated with the first connector.
