Abstract
A method and corresponding apparatus for fast FFT processing of paging information includes receiving an analog signal that is converted to a first digital signal and digitally filtered through a first filter having a first bandwidth (BW) to obtain a second digital signal. The second digital signal is stored in a buffer. The first digital signal is further digitally filtered through a second filter having a second bandwidth (BW) to obtain a third digital signal. An FFTprocessing of the third digital signal is initiated and simultaneously, an FFTprocessing of the second digital signal is initiated. The FFTprocessed third digital signal is then decoded and, based on the decoding of the FFTprocessed third digital signal, a determination is made of whether to complete the FFTprocessing of the second digital signal from the buffer.
