The invention relates to a method for the production of salts of weakly coordinating anions of the type according to the following formula (1), (2) or (3): M[F—X(OR F)](1), M[(RO)X—F—X(OR)](2), M[(RO)X—F—X(OR)—F—X(OR)](3), these salts of weakly coordinating anions and use thereof.
