Abstract

A device for controlling the operating state of a system for the automatic starting/stopping of a heat engine of a vehicle. The invention is characterized in that the device comprises at least one operating state indicator (FF) which is associated with an operating mode of the system and which can adopt a first position (BP) in an operating mode inhibition state, a second position (BP) in an operating mode activation state and a third position (BP) in an operating mode intermediate state.
