Abstract
A zoom lens system comprising, in order from an object along an optical axis: a first lens group having a negative refractive power; a second lens group having a positive refractive power; and a third lens group having a positive refractive power; the following conditional expression being satisfied:0.6<max×1<1.0where Ymax denotes the maximum image height of the zoom lens system, ft denotes a focal length of the zoom lens system in a telephoto end state, and fdenotes a focal length of the first lens group.
