Abstract
In an automobile of the invention, a cornering drag estimatorestimates a cornering drag from measurements of steering angle θ and vehicle speed V. A gain multipliermultiplies the estimated cornering drag by a preset gain K to reduce the estimated cornering drag. A phase adjusteradjusts the phase of the rest of the estimated and reduced cornering drag. An implementation systemreceives the sum of the output of the gain multiplierand the output of the phase adjusterand regulates the throttle opening of an engine according to the received sum. This adjusts the phase and the degree of reduction of the estimated cornering drag. This arrangement of the invention attains the adequate levels of pitching and rolling, which may be caused in the vehicle in the turning state.
