Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds on apatite basis, having the general formula M(A0)X wherein X is situated in the hexagonal channels of the apatite structure and includes Cu-atoms, processes for the preparation thereof as well as applications of these compounds. The compounds presented herein are particularly useful as pigments.
