Abstract
A console system () configured to support a control module () (e.g., a user interface, etc.) operatively coupled to a vehicle system (e.g., a vehicle transmission, etc.), and which can be selectively and conveniently repositioned and/or reconfigured within a vehicle in a variety of positions is disclosed. The control module () is operatively coupled to the vehicle system without the use of conventional mechanical linkage. By providing flexibility in the positioning of the control module (), the console system can be configured and/or reconfigured to meet the desires and/or needs of a variety of users.
