Abstract
A connector assembly () includes a mother board (), a mother receptacle (), a daughter board (), a daughter receptacle (), and a connecting device () mounted between said two boards. The connecting device includes a shroud (), a pair of standoffs () mounted at opposite sides of the shroud and engageable with the two boards, and an extender () positioned alongside the shroud and between the pair of standoffs. The extender defines a lower interface () mating with the mother receptacle and an upper interface () mating with the daughter receptacle.
