Abstract

A sliding rail assembly () for a sliding panel (), movable along a track () between open and closed positions, includes a runner () and a glide () for sliding engagement along the runner (). The runner () is adapted to extend from the track (). The glide () has an interior surface () disposed about the runner () and an exterior surface () adapted to extend from the sliding panel (). A layer of polymeric material () is secured by an adhesive () to either one of the interior surface () of the glide (), the runner (), or both for facilitating sliding movement of the glide () along the runner ().
