Abstract

The invention relates to a medicinal implant or instrument, more particularly to a vascular endoprosthesis (), having a radially dilatable hose part () comprised of a tubular knitted fabric of interdigitating meshes composed of one or more individual fibres (). To provide such an implant or instrument that allows for MR-imaging of the interior of the implant or instrument, the invention proposes that the fibres () of the knitted fabric be electrically conductive and form an inductor () within a high-frequency resonant circuit.
