Abstract
A heating apparatusincludes a shell, a primary heat exchanger (sensible heat exchanger), a burner (combustion means), and a fan. A secondary heat exchanger (latent heat exchanger)has a plurality of heat receiving tubesarranged in parallel between a pair of headersand, the heat receiving tubesbeing fixed to tube plates. The heat receiving tubesare bare tubes without fins and are arranged across flow of combustion gas. The number of the tubesarranged vertically is less than the number of the tubesarranged horizontally.
