Abstract
The invention is concerned with novel benzimidazole derivatives of formula (I) wherein Rto Rare as defined in the description and in the claims, as well as physiologically acceptable salts and esters thereof. These compounds bind to Farnesoid-X-receptors (FXR) and can be used to treat diseases which are modulated by FXR agonists such as diabetes and dyslipidemia.
