Abstract
Compounds of the formula (I): wherein each of R-Ris independently hydrogen or a linear Calkyl group each of Aand Ais a 1, 2 or 3 ring carbon atom wherein Ais substituted by Rand Rand Ais substituted by Rand R; and wherein at least one of R-Ris a linear alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms are emollients for use in cosmetics, lubricants and pharmaceutical preparations.
