Abstract

A compound of Formula (1) and compounds of Formula (2) or a salt thereof: wherein: wherein * is the point of attachment to the azo group in Formula (1) or (2); p and q are each independently 0, 1 or 2 and the sum of p+q is not zero; B is optionally substituted phenylene or naphthylene; n is 0 or 1; and D is an optionally substituted pyrazolyl group. The compound or salt is useful in an ink for ink jet printing.
