Abstract
The invention relates to an expansion device for a refrigerant, in particular an expansion device to control the high-pressure level of an air conditioner. In accordance with the invention, it is provided that the expansion device () is a sliding seat valve (). In addition, the invention relates to an air conditioner (), in particular an air conditioner () for a motor vehicle, with a compressor (), a condenser or gas cooler (), an expansion device () as well as an evaporator ().
