Abstract

A multi-lumen biliary catheter in which at least one of the lumens () has a side opening port () configured to guide a guidewire () out of that port at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the catheter. Radiopaque marker bands () having different lengths are placed on the distal end of the catheter adjacent the distal openings to facilitate fluoroscopic identification of the distal end orientation in the biliary tract.
