Abstract

A roller element () has a central body () and a roller unit (). The roller unit () is mounted so as to circulate on a non-circular race () about the central body () and so as to be mobile with respect to the central body () by the rolling movement of the rollers () of the roller unit () on the central body (). The rollers () are provided on the exterior of the roller unit () for rolling off on a rigid counter body (). The roller element () is provided with a drive means () which engages with the roller unit () and drives the same in relation to the central body ().
