Abstract
A transport device includes a plurality of endlessly connected steps () so that these steps () circulate. One or more of the plurality of steps () have one or more weights () detachably attached thereto. These weights () are contained in the space surrounded by a tread (), a riser (), and a yoke () that form each of the steps (), and supported on the rear surface of the tread () in a row by a channel member () of U-shape in cross section.
