Abstract
An image forming apparatus () according to the present invention includes a main frame (B) which supports an image forming unit (). An electric charger () is provided as a high voltage unit on a front side (D) of the main frame (B), and a high voltage circuit board () for applying a high voltage to the electric charger () is provided on a rear side (D) of the main frame (B) A cover () is provided as an insulative member on the high voltage circuit board () in opposed relation to the main frame (B) for electrically isolating the high voltage circuit board () from the main frame (B). The high voltage circuit board () is fixed directly to the main frame (B) by the cover (), and electrically connected to the electric charger via a resilient connector ().
