Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for searching and displaying reports to a user. In one embodiment, the user selects an item from a displayed list of reporting objects. Based on the user's selection, a list of report topics available for the selected item is determined and presented to the user. In response, the user may select a report topic and, thereafter, the appropriate available report(s) may be directly presented or displayed to the user without any further user interaction. In one embodiment, an appropriate updated report may be generated in response to the user's selections. In another embodiment, the list of reporting topics is determined implicitly for the objects associated with the context the user is working in.
