Abstract

The invention relates to the use of a polysilazane solution which comprises a polysilazane of the formula 1 where n has been adjusted so that the polysilazane has a number-average molar mass of from 150 to 150 000 g/mol, and also comprises a solvent and a catalyst, as a primer for the coating of a surface with fluorosilanes or with fluorine-containing condensates.
