Abstract

A handset device () includes a substrate () defining a first audio port portion () and having a contact pad (). An adhesive () is operatively coupled to the substrate (). The adhesive () defines a second audio port portion () stacked with the first audio port portion () and defines a first electrical port portion (). A speaker () having an electrical connector () is operatively coupled to the contact pad () through the first electrical port portion (). The adhesive () is operative to seal the first and second audio port portions (and) from the electrical port portion ().
