Abstract

A shield connectorincludes terminal-equipped wireseach having a terminalconnected to an end portion of its wire, a housingreceiving the terminalsof the terminal-equipped wires, a shielding shellmounted on the housing, and waterproof plugseach mounted at least on the terminalof the corresponding terminal-equipped wireand the end portion of the wireat a region between the housingand the shielding shell. The shielding shellhas wire passage holesandformed in a rear face thereof, and the wiresled out from the housingdisposed on a front face of the shielding shell pass through the respective wire passage holes. Each waterproof plugincludes a waterproof plug bodydisposed at least around a periphery of the terminaland a periphery of the end portion of the wire, and a resin memberembedded in the waterproof plug body. The waterproof plug bodyabuts against that portion of the front face of the shielding shelldefining an edge portion of the wire passage hole, and the resin memberis disposed to extend at least in an axial direction of the waterproof plug body, and passes through the wire passage holeto extend rearwardly from the shielding shell
