Abstract
The present invention relates to a series of novel silicone polyesters which are prepared by crosslinking an alkyl dimethicone copolyol with a dimer acid. The reaction of the alkyl dimethicone copolyol and dimer acid results in a polyester having affinity to oils and that is highly lubricious on hair, skin and textile fiber.
