A method for providing a Broadcast/Multicast Service (BCMCS) content in a communication network () for managing the BCMCS content in the communication network is disclosed. The method includes receiving () a request for the BCMCS content from an AT (). The method also includes directing () a content server () to initiate transmission of the BCMCS content. Further, the method includes establishing () a bearer channel between the content server and the AT.
