Abstract
The invention relates to a cutting wire () which is designed to trim or cut vegetation and which can be used on rotating head devices, such as brush cutters and edge trimmers. The external surface of the cutting wire is provided with tooth-type () or similar formations along the length of said wire (). In the case of a wire having one or more longitudinal cutting edges (), said tooth-type formations () are disposed on the cutting edge(s) along the length of each edge (). In this way, the sharpness of the wire () is improved.
