Abstract
In a method for improving the interface efficiency between two network nodes () in a communications network () the data blocks to be transmitted over the interface are checked for corruption or likely corruption prior to transmission and only uncorrupted or likely uncorrupted data blocks are incorporated in the data frame and transmitted over the interface.
