Abstract
The present invention is directed to a device, in particular a charger device, with a measuring unit () for acquiring at least one battery characteristic value. It is provided that the device includes an arithmetic unit () which is provided to determine an ageing-specific charging mode as a function, at the least, of the acquired battery characteristic value.
