Abstract
An organic electroluminescent device includes a first member: a light-emitting element that is formed on the first member; a second member that has a second region bonded to the first region of the first member, and forms a sealing space for sealing the light-emitting element between the first member and the second member. Each of the first and second regions has a flat surface that is provided so as to connect an end portion located at the side of the sealing space to an end portion located at the side of an external space outside of the sealing space, and a wall surface that is provided near the flat surface, and the wall surface has a first surface that is provided so as to be parallel to a first direction, and a second surface that is provided so as to be parallel to a second direction different from the first direction.
