Abstract
A housing () made of synthetic resin, in which plate-like terminals () are to be accommodated, is formed with cavities (), into which the terminals () are inserted, and resin locking lances () extending along surrounding walls () of the cavities (). An engaging projection (B) engageable with an engaging hole () of the terminal () projects from the resin locking lance (). A clearance CL for permitting displacements of the terminal () is defined between a facing wall (L) of the surrounding wall () of the cavity () facing the resin locking lance () and a main body (A) of the resin locking lance () excluding the engaging projection (B). A projecting distance of the engaging projection (B) is longer than a difference between the dimension of the clearance and the thickness of the terminal ().
