Abstract
In a hand-guided, motor-driven compass saw machine (), having a housing () that contains a saw blade () that can be moved in the vertical direction by a lifter rod (), and having an oscillation mechanism that has a roller lever (), which is contained in the housing so that it can rotate around a horizontal first axis () and supports a roller () that remains in contact with the saw blade () and rotates around a horizontal second axis (), which oscillation mechanism also has a fork lever () that periodically deflects the roller lever (), an adaptive adjustment of the forward saw progress to the advancing force of the compass saw machine () is achieved by virtue of the fact that the oscillation mechanism produces an oscillation of the saw blade () as a function of the pressure.
