Abstract

A wireless communication device such as a cell phone is rendered temporarily inoperable by enclosing the device in a container such as a heat sealable bag () which has been metallized so that when the device () is sealed in the container () it is surrounded by a metal layer () which blocks signals to and from the device () to thereby render it inoperable. The device is sealed within the container () by a seal such as a heat seal which will reveal any attempt to remove the device from the container.
