Abstract
A connector includes a receptacle () and a moving plate () that can move in the receptacle () as a female housing () is fit into receptacle (). The moving plate () includes a main body () with positioning holes () for receiving tabs () of male terminal fittings (). Leading ends of the tabs () project through the positioning holes () when the moving plate () is at an initial position. A protection wall () projects forward from the main body () and prevents a corner () of an improperly aligned female housing () from contacting the leading ends of the tabs () when the moving plate () is at the initial position. The female housing () has recesses () for receiving the protection wall () when the female housing () is aligned properly.
