Abstract

An apparatus () for testing detectors has a cup or chamber () supported within a mid-cap () by a support ring (). An adjustable cap () attaches at one end to a mid-cap () and at the other end to a step-adjust cap () via bayonet mounting. A handle () is pivotally connected to pivot pins () located on the mid-cap (). An external ring () attaches to the distal rim () of the chamber () and has legs () for covering notches () formed in the chamber (). An identifier reader or receiver/PDAs () is used in the system to communicate with the detector to identify the detector and/or transmit the test results to a central location.
